TKL Architect is a design-oriented practice focused on delivering innovative and ecologically sensitive designs.

TKL Architect, was established in 1994 by Thomas K. Lee in Vancouver, Canada. His goal was to offer his clients the due care and attention of a small boutique firm but at the same time the capabilities of a large corporation. This goal has been the driving forced behind TKL Architect since. Architects, Planners and Landscape Architects are carefully selected for each and every project in order to match the specific needs of each client and their unique project.

TKL Architect's initial client base was predominately Hong Kong residences immigrating to Vancouver in the early nineties. In the subsequent years, the company has steadily established its reputation and diversified its portfolio.

In 2006 Thomas had the opportunity to work in Beijing, PRC. There he met Alison X. Song, a talented senior designer. Her capabilities and insight into the Chinese development community made it a natural fit for them to team up and seek opportunities in China's fast growing economy. TKL International Limited in Hong Kong was established in 2008 and TKL Consulting (Beijing) Company Ltd, soon followed in 2009. With the establishment of these two offices, TKL Architect is now a true international company and can thus offer seamless service to our clients between North American and Asia.
